Education for Ministry (EFM)

All are called to ministry in one way or another; not necessarily for ordination, but to be a minister to
all! Education for Ministry (EFM) is a four-year course to help one find their place in the world and develop
and understand their own theology. Through the years, we study Old Testament, New Testament, church history, and theology. (Commitment is only required to one year at a time). EFM invokes reading the Bible, textbooks, and group discussions of all years, leading to theological reflection.

EFM meets once a week for 2-1/2 hours for nine months out of the year. A new group will be starting in
September, 2023, and we always welcome and encourage new students. Please contact Leanne Bryan (leanne.p.bryan@gmail.com) or Kathy Pessin (jikapess@gmail.com) if you have any questions
