St Luke’s Food Pantry is a program designed to address the issue of food insecurity by providing food on a weekly basis to those who live in our community. The Pantry is open to the public every Friday from 9:00am-12:00 noon. We currently serve about 40-50 families a week. The Pantry volunteers, in collaboration with our partners, strive to keep our pantry well-stocked with a variety of foodstuffs. Our partners include St Mary’s Alliance (deliveries twice a month) Yavapai County Green Bag Project (distribution of non-perishable items three times a year), Wildflower Bread Company (weekly donation of bread and pastries), as well as donations of food and cash from St. Luke’s parishioners (throughout the year). The volunteers work many hours to collect, sort, store, and maintain the Pantry and Bunker (a separate storage area), to ensure we keep our doors open to the public. We pride ourselves in welcoming all who come to us and are committed to providing outstanding service. This program’s success is largely due to the dedication of hardworking people who generously give of themselves in support of this ministry.
