About Us

Welcome to St. Luke’s!

St Luke’s is a growing Episcopal parish in the Quad-cities area, which includes the communities of Prescott, Prescott Valley, Chino Valley, and Dewey, Arizona. We worship God with joy and reverence, seek deeper faith in Jesus Christ, serve Christ in others, and offer a joyous and heartfelt welcome to all who come through our doors.

St. Luke’s is part of the Episcopal Diocese of Arizona, member of the Episcopal Church of the United States of America and the worldwide Anglican Communion.

Since our foundation in 1892, worship and service have been central to the purpose of our life together as a congregation. We seek to share Christ’s love and life in the world.

We invite you to come and see for yourself!  Meet us through these pages or come to visit our church in person. Allow us to get to know you. In the process, we hope that you will be open to the possibility that God loves you wildly and has created you for His own purpose… a purpose you might even discover on your journey with us!

Mission & Vision

Our Mission: To Know Christ and to Make Christ Known.

Our Vision: To follow Christ’s teaching in an atmosphere of love, joy, and healing.

Our Mission and Vision flow from the Great Commission of our Lord to proclaim the gospel throughout the world.  We do this through word, sacraments, worship, and music; and through mission and outreach to our community and to the wider communities of the nation and the world.

Our Parish goals and values are to:

Provide a warm and caring community of faith
Proclaim God’s redeeming love for all
Respect all persons for who they are and what they think
    Provide structured worship and praise
Welcome all baptized believers to partake of the Eucharist
Provide opportunities for enrichment and growth in the Christian faith for all ages
Create opportunities for parishioners to be a blessing in the lives of others
    Serve the quad-city area

The Baptismal Covenant

We strive to proclaim by our lives and choices what we promised during our Baptismal Covenant:
We continue in the apostles’ teaching and fellowship, in the breaking of the bread, and in the prayers. We persevere in resisting evil, and, whenever we fall into sin, repent and return to the Lord. We proclaim by word and example the Good News of God in Christ. We seek and serve Christ in all persons, loving your neighbor as yourself. We strive for justice and peace among all people, and respect the dignity of every human being.
